Since the Man Cave phenomenon has started, men have been creating their own individual spaces to comfort their every craving. Some build them simply as a place to relax and hang out; while others find a special theme that they follow while creating their haven. One such theme that is getting to be fairly popular is the movies and film theme. This may be because of the fact that this is a fairly easy theme to set up. Of course what goes into a Man Cave depends on both budget and personal taste. Here are a few tips for turning any Man Cave into the envy of any movies buffs dreams. The Entertainment Center Since this room is going to be used mostly for viewing and enjoying movies, the television is going to be the most important feature in the room. The bigger the television is the better. In a perfect world all men would be able to hook up a projector in their basement and be able to play all of their movies in high definition, but that isn’t the case. This is one of the elements that is purely based off of budget and available space. This is important for everyone except those that have the money to build individual room for their own personal theater. Along with the television, it will be necessary to hook it up a DVD player. Again, for those that are hooking up a high definition television, and can afford it, a high definition DVD player would be best. If there is still a little extra cash lying around, top it all off with a nice surround sound system. The more it feels like a movie theater, the better. Furniture Now that the Man Cave has its personal movie theater set up, it will be necessary to have something to sit on. For those looking for a more realistic theater experience, individual seats are the best way to go. A couple of recliners will do the job perfectly. However, a couple of couches, or a mixture of chairs will do the trick. Each individual will want to set up their theater differently. Furniture isn’t the most important part of the room, though it is nice to be sitting on something comfortable. How it looks should not be the main thing to worry about. It is possible to buy something at a local Thrift Store, and if it doesn’t look nice throw a large blanket over it, problem solved.
